Finally brethren , pray for us, that the word of the Lord may speed on and triumph, as it did among you, and that we may be delivered from wicked and evil men; for not all have FAITH. But THE LORD IS FAITHFUL; He will strengthen you and guard you from evil. And we have confidence in the Lord about you, that you are doing and will do the things which we command. May the Lord direct your hearts to the love of God and to the steadfastness of Christ.

Therefore take the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having girded your loins with truth, and having put on breastplate of righteousness, and having shod your feet with the equipment of the Gospel of peace; above all taking the SHIELD of FAITH, with which you can quench all the flaming darts of the evil one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the WORD of GOD. Pray at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication.
For this reason I bow my knees before the Father, from whom every family in Heaven and on Earth is named, that according to the riches of His glory He may grant you to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, and that Christ may dwell in your hearts through FAITH; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may have power to comprehend with all the Saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.
Now before FAITH came, we were confined under the law, kept under restraint until FAITH should be revealed. So that the law was our custodian until Christ came, that we might be justified by FAITH. But now that FAITH has come, we are no longer under a custodian; for in Christ Jesus you are all sons of God, through FAITH. For as many of you as were BAPTIZED into Christ have put on Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor nor free, there is neither male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus. And if you are Christ’s, then you are Abraham’s offspring, heirs according to the promise.
I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I live, but Christ who lives in me; and the life I now live in the flesh I live by FAITH in the Son of God, who loved me and gave His life for me. I do not nullify the Grace of God; for if justification were through the law, then Christ died to no purpose.

So we are always of good courage; we know that while we are at home in the body we are away from the Lord, FOR WE WALK BY FAITH, NOT BY SIGHT. We are of good courage, and we would rather be away from the body and at home with the Lord. So whether we are at home or away, we make it our aim to please Him. For we must all appear before the Judgement seat of Christ, so that each one may receive good or evil, according to what he has done in the body.
Live in God, not in the world. Live with God, not with the world.

Paul’s words to the Church in Corinth and to us:
When I come to you, brethren, I did not come proclaiming to you the testimony of God in lofty words or wisdom. For I decided to know nothing among you except Jesus Christ and Him crucified. And I was with you in weakness and in much fear and trembling; and my speech and my message were not in plausible words of wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and power, that your FAITH might not rest in the wisdom of men but in the power of God.

Therefore, since we are justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. Through Him we have obtained access to his grace in which we stand, and we rejoice in our hope of sharing the glory of God.
For I am not ashamed of the Gospel: it is the power of God for salvation to every one who has faith, to the Jew first and also to the Greek. For it is the righteousness of God is revealed through faith for faith, as it is written. “He who through is righteous shall live.”
One day He got into the boat with His disciples, and He said to them, “Let’s go across to the other side of the lake.” So they set out, and as they sailed He fell asleep. And a storm of wind came down on the lake, and they were filling with water, and were in danger. And they went and woke Him saying, “master, Master, we are perishing!!” And he awoke and rebuked the wind and raging waves; and they ceased, and there was a calm. He said to them, “Where is your Faith?” And they were afraid, and they marveled, saying to one another, “Who then is this, that he commands even wind and water, and they obey Him?”
