You are wearied in the length of your way: yet you did not say, there is no hope. You have found the life of your hand; therefore you were not grieved.

The way of the Lord is strength for the upright, but destruction will come to the workers of iniquity.
Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking into Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. For consider Him who endures such hostility from sinners against Himself, lest you become weary and discouraged in your souls.
Therefore submit yourselves to every ordinance of man for the Lord’s sake, whether to the king as supreme, or to governors, as to those who are sent by Him for the punishment of evildoers and for the praise of those who do good. For this is the will of God, that by doing good you may put to silence the ignorance of foolish men–as free, yet not using liberty as a cloak for vice, but asĀ bondservants of God. Honor all people. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honor the king.
In God I have put my trust; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?
Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead. I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.
O God, do not be far from me; O my God make haste to help me! Let them be confounded and confined who are adversaries of my life; Let them be covered with reproach and dishonor who seek my hurt.
Let not mercy and truth forsake you; Bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart, and so find favor and high esteem in the sight of God and man.
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
You shall walk in all the ways which the Lord your God has commanded you, that you may live and that it may be well with you, and that you may prolong your days in the land which you shall possess.
