God so loved the world, He gave His only begotten son.

Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. Do not cast me away from Your presence, and do not take Your Holy Spirit from me. Restore to me the joy of Your salvation, and uphold me by Your generous Spirit.

Give ear, O Lord, to my prayer; And attend to the voice of my supplication. In the day of my trouble I will call upon You, for You will answer me.

Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever.

For behold, the Lord will come fire and with His chariots, like a whirlwind, to render His anger with fury, and His rebuke with flames of fire. For by fire and by His sword the Lord will judge all flesh; And the slain of the Lord shall be many.

Now may the God of peace who brought up our Lord Jesus from the dead, that great Shepard of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, make you complete in every good work to do His will, working in you what is well pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever, Amen.

Therefore He says: “Awake, you who sleep, arise from the dead, and Christ will give you light.” See that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil. Therefore do not be unwise, but understand what the will of the Lord is.

Therefore it is also contained in the scripture, “Behold, I lay in Zion a chief cornerstone, elect, precious, and he who believes on Him will by no means be put to shame.” Therefore, to you who believe, He is precious; but to those who are disobedient, “The stone which the builders rejected has become the chief cornerstone,” and “A stone of stumbling and a rock of offense.” They stumble, being disobedient to the word, to which they were appointed.

Trust in the Lord forever, for the Lord is everlasting strength.
